Americans could be in more danger walking through America's inner cities than in war-plagued countries, Donald Trump suggested on Monday.
Speaking at a campaign event in Asheville, North Carolina, the Republican presidential nominee slammed the state of the country's inner cities under “a hundred years straight” of Democratic control, promising a “new agenda” under a Trump administration.
“The Democratic Party has run the inner cities for 50, 60, 70 years and even a hundred years straight,” he said. “We are on a mission of change. That includes a new agenda."
