TASS: Russian Foreign Ministry describes US’ new national security strategy as confrontational
Productive partnership between Moscow and Washington is possible only on the principles of equality and mutual respect, the Foreign Ministry said
MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. The United States’ new national security strategy is openly confrontational, being geared not towards constructive cooperation but towards confrontation, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
"We regret that the United States’ new national security strategy made public of December 18 has a confrontational character. It’s key message - peace through strength - is geared not towards constructive and equal cooperation with other countries in the interests of joint resolution of the existing problems, but towards confrontation," the ministry stressed.

WNU Editor: I am actually surprised by the Russian response. I find it to be very low key, and there is not much coverage of President Trump's National Security Strategy in the Russian media.
