At least 37 killed in seven days of protest against Sudanese president
Sudanese forces have used tear gas, batons and rubber bullets to prevent protesters from marching on the presidential palace in the capital Khartoum on Tuesday.
The protesters had gathered in downtown Khartoum after a call made by Sudanese trade unions to demand the end of President Omar al-Bashir's three-decade rule.
