It Begins. U.S. Democrat Politicians Refusing To Debate Their Republican Counterparts

770 KTTH: Rantz: Gov Inslee refuses in-person debate with Republican Culp

Incumbent Governor Jay Inslee refuses to debate Republican challenger Loren Culp in-person, a source with the Washington State Debate Coalition tells the Jason Rantz Show on KTTH.

Instead, Inslee’s team is angling for a digital debate over Zoom, where he can participate from his home. This despite assurances that an in-person debate would practice social distancing and other coronavirus best-practices recommended by Inslee’s own administration.

Inslee’s campaign has not responded to multiple requests for comment.

WNU Editor: I expect more Democrat politicians will refuse to debate against their Republican counterparts. This may even become a trend. As for the Trump-Biden debate. I am still believe that it will be cancelled, or there will be at least one debate with the other two cancelled. When I looked at Joe Biden's speech yesterday .... I just cannot see him on a podium debating Trump.
