President Joe Biden raised human rights issues when he spoke to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz on Thursday but the White House didn't say if the two men discussed murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
In their conversation, President Biden 'affirmed the importance the United States places on universal human rights and the rule of law,' the White House said in a readout of the call.
