The Hill: FBI deputy to be questioned in closed-door session by House panels

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe will be questioned Thursday in a closed-door session by the House Judiciary and the House Oversight committees, according to Reuters.

McCabe, who testified for eight hours on Tuesday before the full House Intelligence Committee, will return to Capitol Hill on Thursday for the transcribed interview.

A letter obtained by Reuters from the Judiciary Committee states that McCabe will not be permitted to testify about special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian election meddling during the interview.

The deputy FBI director testified Tuesday about perceived bias from FBI agents assigned to Mueller's team against President Trump.

Update: FBI deputy director to sit for closed interview with House panels (Reuters)

WNU Editor: He was questioned yesterday (Tuesday) by the full House Intelligence Committee for almost 8 hours .... and they now want him to return this Thursday to have his testimony transcribed. And while only a few details have emerged from his testimony .... it appears that his answers did not satisfy the Republican members of the committee .... McCabe draws blank on Democrats’ funding of Trump dossier, new subpoenas planned (FOX News). As for the Democrats .... they have even been more very tight-lipped on the FBI Deputy Director's testimony. As to what is my take on this story .... I am disappointed that this is being conducted under closed doors. I think the people have a right to know what is happening.
