WNU Editor: When it comes to reporting the news and providing commentary, China's news agencies follow the following rule. There is the news that China wants the world to see, but Chinese citizens are banned from watching. And the news that Chinese citizens see, but the world cannot. In the current crisis China's media has doubled down on this rule, especially the anti-American aspect of it. But I do not think it is working in China as effectively as the Chinese government wants to think and believe it is. I know a lot of people in China, and everyone of them are skeptical and/or critical of the Chinese Communist Party line on this crisis.This pandemic has been a psychological trauma for many in China, and they know who to blame.
