When he first entered politics he was the type of politician who would jump into a protest like the trucker protest and talk to the demonstrators. No more now. It is now "us against them", and he is using the power of the state and its influence over the media to make sure that those who oppose his policies are marginalized.
I live in Canada, and I am seeing first hand on how authoritarian this government is becoming. Case in point.
