WNU editor: AP is breaking this story .... Afghan officials said to talk nearly every day with Taliban (AP). Apparently the National Security Adviser is also involved in these talks .... but only once a month. Am I surprised by these talks .... no. But in the AP report there is an admission that some of these talks are done with Taliban commanders and leaders in Pakistan. Hmmm .... so much for Pakistan's denials that the Taliban leadership is in Pakistan.
