KATC.com: Air Force B-52 bombers to fly over New Orleans, Baton Rouge in salute to essential workers
Air Force pilots flying B-52 bomber planes will salute Louisiana's essential workers in a flyover on Friday, The Advocate reports.
Two B-52 Stratofortresses out of the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans will fly over medical centers in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. The program will start in New Orleans around 9:30 a.m., and then, along with F-15s fighter aircraft, will make their way to Baton Rouge at noon.
