WNU Editor: My cousins tell me that the downtown centers of both St. Petersburg and Moscow are dead. The only stores that are open are grocery shops/supermarkets, convenience stores, and pharmacies. Foreign goods are in short supply, but everything else is readily available.
Outside of the city centers the malls in the suburbs are very busy.
I have also been told that support for the war is very strong. Everyone is expecting the war in Ukraine to get worse in the coming weeks and months.
