TASS: Asked about Ukraine, Putin said he had no regrets 

"I want to make it clear: what is happening today is unpleasant, to put it mildly. But we would have had the same thing a little bit later, only in different conditions, far worse for us," the Russian leader stressed 

ASTANA, October 14. /TASS/. Russia is acting correctly and in a timely manner in the current situation involving Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin told the media on Friday. 

"No," Putin replied when asked, if he had any regrets.

WNU Editor: His body language when asked that question was very clear. With his shrug, especially when he said that he does not want to destroy Ukraine, tells me that as far as he is concerned he had no choice. 

Here is an easy prediction. Years and decades from now historians are going to be debating if Putin did have a choice, and how different everything would have been if a different choice was available and taken.
