WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden is urging schools to stay open, but there’s a widespread Covid testing shortage.
He calls it the “pandemic of the unvaccinated,” but that has only confused boosted Americans home sick with the omicron variant.
And the administration hasn’t changed its guidance to urge high-filtration masks despite calls from the medical community, while recent isolation guidance has only added to the uncertainty.
The White House’s stay-the-course strategy on Covid is increasingly colliding with the realities of a roaring pandemic that is forcing schools and businesses to close.

WNU Editor: The above Washington Post story admits that when President Trump was in the White House many were quick to blame him for his administration's response to the pandemic. Today .... the same critics are keeping to themselves and/or not criticizing President Biden for fear that such criticisms would only empower the former President and his supporters.
If that is not an admission from the Washington Post that the pandemic has always been politicized, I do not know what is.
